Friends of Kirkwood Public Library Book Sale
The Friends of the Kirkwood Public Library will hold a book sale on February 26 and 27 in the Library meeting room, 140 E. Jefferson Avenue, Kirkwood. The sale will feature a variety of books on topics such as history, biography, and military/war books on Missouri and St. Louis. The hours of the sale are Friday, February 26 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, February 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There is no entry fee. Book prices are generally in the $1.00 to $4.00 range, with payment by cash or check. No credit or debit cards. All proceeds benefit the Kirkwood Public Library. The Library accepts donations year-round at its two drop-off spots. One is inside the Library on the west side of the circulation desk. The other is the bin at the back of the library. For large donations, call the Friends at 314-821-5770, ext. 1023, to arrange a time to bring in the books.
We are looking for books – fiction and nonfiction, hard cover and paperback—that are in good (“resellable”) condition. We also take CDs and DVDs. We cannot take encyclopedias, magazines, or VHS tapes.
