We welcome your help with any of the following activities:
- Volunteers to work at the book sales.
- Deliver books and other materials to homebound residents.
- Provide hospitality for special Library events.
- Staff the Greentree Books Shop, annual Book Fair, and booths at community events.

Homebound Outreach
These volunteers take Library materials on a regular basis to persons who are permanently or temporarily homebound. A library staff member selects an assortment of books, and the volunteer is called when they are ready. The volunteer then takes the books from the library to the homebound patron, and returns those from the previous delivery. Dates and times are arranged between the patron and the volunteer.
The Homebound Services Chair urges patrons who could benefit from this service to contact the Library. Those who use the service truly enjoy and highly recommend it.

Greentree Books Shop
The Shop has a constantly changing supply of used books in excellent condition, as well as other book-related and unique gifts. Volunteers are needed to staff the shop. Kirkwood Public Library Friends receive a 10% discount on all purchases at the Greentree Books shop. |
